Exactly, that's what I was thinking in terms of him being, a 3rd QB at best.

I'm a little confused in general why we would need another 'mentor' for Campbell if Dilfer was to fulfill that role. Isn't that why we brought a guy named ZORN to Washington?

Not really.. A coach can only do so much, especially a head coach.. A veteran QB, mentor if you will, can spend time after practice or film time during camp or just an extra ear on the sidelines to talk thru things.. A head coach has so many other responsibilities he's got to handle and there are only so many hours he can dedicate to one player.

the same way collins was helping campbell learn saunders offense.
