Not talking about the cap ramifications (I agree with Schneeds assessment), the trade absolutely makes sense. We would get first round talent for a first round pick. So the question is whether or not adding a third round pick is appropriate for a guarantee of attaining a pro-bowl caliber player with your first round pick.
I'll take that all day long.
