Re: Slowest sports day of the year?

For me the sports season has been over for a while. I follow the Nats and watch their games occasionally right now but baseball as a whole isn't that interesting to me watching on t.v. The sports season ended when the Caps and Wiz both got eliminated from the playoffs lol. That's the thing I like about watching football. When it's over hockey and basketball have only been going for a couple months and it keeps you busy until the Finals and the NHL playoffs are over. Baseball is nice but it's not riveting to watch for me like hockey or basketball.

You are right. Baseball is called "America's Pastime", and that is for a very good reason. Baseball is so slow, it allows you to past the time. You can watch the game while you clean the house or wash the car. There is so much lapse in action, you never really miss anything. The only thing on is NBA Summer Basketball League on NBA channel. You can watch the newly drafted rookies and bench players compete. Philly and Washington played last night. The Wizards might have a keeper at center,. JaVale McGee is a seven foot center from University of Nevada Reno. Looks very dominating.
