Btw, what level does everyone play on? I play All-Pro and occasionally All Madden, but I haven't found it at all easy to pass in that game. I am getting pretty good at it, but I do throw an unusually high number of picks. Mostly I rely on the running game and don't plan on throwing for more than 150+ with a few TD's and a pick or less. |

Re: Redskins in Madden 2009
SGG you are so right! It is still a simulation of the game football and when you really think about it you have very little control of all aspects of the game (which I know is impossible).
I have said this before but this year I am not buying, I am using the sixty dollars on a diffrent game. I am sick of playing half way through a season (usually this happens around mid August) and saying to myself how is this diffrent then last years version. |

Re: Redskins in Madden 2009
I tried it some, I threw way too many picks! I can't keep changing my passing style every time I move up in that game...it seems like on All-Madden if you don't already have a beast QB you're pretty much screwed.

Re: Redskins in Madden 2009
Yeah the last time I tried a season on all-madden in the first game I threw 3 picks on 3 straight drives. The final straw was when a LB who wasn't even facing the line of scrimmage jumped sky high to make a pick over the middle. Straight up cheese.

Re: Redskins in Madden 2009
Not to sound like a major D.B., but All-Madden is fine if you really learn a playbook. I really struggled on All-Madden, until I started using practices to learn routes and which plays do and do not work for me. Now that I know the "Balanced Offense" cold, my offense is virtually unstoppable. Also, changing routes at the LOS based on coverages will really help.

Rookie is ridiculous too, scoring 200 points is only fun if you're playing against Dallas.

Re: Redskins in Madden 2009
I play all pro because its the default for online play. I get used to the speed of the game on that setting so it translates somewhat to multiplayer. If it werent for the online games, i probably wouldn't buy the game every year either, though. Playing through the seasons is fun from time to time, but it gets old quick, and I suck at drafting. I've only ever drafted one great player, a wideout named espinaso or something with a 99 speed and a 97 acc, and he was like 6'3" and hands of glue. His soap has to dominate. He dominates.

Re: Redskins in Madden 2009
I just downloaded the Madden 09 demo off of Xbox live marketplace last night. It wasn't very revealing but I got to go through the process which determines your skill level and against my will I lead the Giants through the Super Bowl winning drive. I was definitely impressed with the graphics, but I didn't get a glimpse of any of the menus, rosters, etc. I highly recommend checking it out. Its worth the hour or so it took to download it. (Its a little over 1gb in size)

I DL it yesterday as well. It did take awhile. Just in case you don't know you can set your Xbox to DL stuff after it is turned off. Sometimes I do this before headign to bed. Overal lthe demo was kind of fun. I like the skill test part. |
