Re: Redskins vs. Saints game thread

Ok, WOW! JC threw his entire arm to a WIDE OPEN Mantana Sauce, against a ROOKIE CB. If he didn't make that throw, we'd be chastising him. Let's not crown him a pro bowler, just yet. Jesus... "great day for knee jerk.... blah blah" he's gonna blow it next week. Mark my words.

ummm did you miss all the other passes he completed?

No one is crowning him a pro bowler yet, but your comment is not really valid considering it was his performance throughout the game that was impressive not just that one pass.

Oh I forgot that was the only pass he threw the whole day. Are you a redskins fan? If not why are you wishing for him to blow it next week after a good performance..2 words..Hi

JC audibled to that play, it was a good read and great throw. Many on this site (not you, so I'm wondering where this is coming from) have implied JC "lacks the intelligence" to be an NFL QB, that he "can't read the defense", and bash him everytime he throws an incompletion it seems. Others of us have been saying be patient with him, he's got the tools and he IS progressing. That's where my post is coming from.

I'm not crowning him a pro-bowler, but he showed he is progressing. He's gonna blow it next week....against the Cards????? First off, why would you say that if you're a fan, second off chances are your dead-wrong.

JC audibled to that play, avoided a sack, stepped up into the pocket and threw a 67 yard TD. To imply that was a "gimme TD" is simply wrong. Moreover, JC threw for over 300 yards, a TD, no INTs or fumbles, and completed nearly 70% of his throws. Tough to complain or whine about JC today.

No one is crowning him a pro bowler, but everyone is pointing out that somehow he wasn't fit to lead a high school team after last week due to all you haters, and now he played the way we all knew he could.
You talk about the rookie CB as if he didn't make a great pass...that play had NOTHING to do with a rookie CB and everything to do with Campbell's leadship and talent (the audible, then leading moss), and Moss' speed to create separation.
I can't believe there is someone like you here pissing on the great game cause you dislike Campbell so much. You dislike him so much that you are unwilling to see what he actually did for your so-called team. You are not a fan, you're a hater.
So do us all a favor...here you go:

What a remarkable performance after such a disaster last week! Congrats to Campbell and the entire Redskins team! I'm so proud!

The clear difference is that JC moved in the pocket AWAY from a defender, reset, and still threw a perfect ball. To me, that screams that he has improved. I have NEVER seen him do that before and he did it twice yesterday.

I think he's trying to say JC is just a flash in the pan.

LOL, I believe the old saying is 'tis better for people to think you the fool than for you to open your mouth to remove all doubt.'

Some people are so jaded by their own misery they cannot enjoy prosperity.

Re: Redskins vs. Saints game thread

Got back from the game and really enjoyed reading the last 15 or so pages of posts, starting about 3:30 pm when we were down, knowing where it was going.

The Defense was amazing, what more can you say about Chris Horton. The D really kept us in this game.

The O line bore no resemblance to the Line of last week. Maybe it was the emotion of Joe Bugel's issues then, I don't know. They gave him much more time this week.

JC still seemed to be holding on to the ball and single looking his receiver in the first 1/2 but he missed a wide open Cooley on one drive and after that it was like something clicked and he started to survey the field much more.

That pass to Moss was clearly the biggest of hi pro-career, IMO.

He made a big league pass at a crucial moment.

He grew a lot today.

There are still going to be some growing pains, as we have some tough games coming up on the road, but now the guy knows it aint over till Rosie O'Donnell sings.

Good Game JC.

J-Dawg.
