The column highlighted in red is called "effective yards" and is as good a measure as any of his total value. Only three RBs in the entire NFL have more than 500 effective yards. Portis has 800. That really puts this season in perspective. Did I mention that Portis has also been a great receiver this year? __________________ according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
