A 2nd rounder is not value at all for Rogers. We spent like the 9th pick on him and he played really well this year and is still young. This is the kind of player you build around not trade for a 2nd rounder.

I am all for trading Moss if he can bring anything good in return...he is starting to get older and we need to start making changes to that offensive core.

I agree... anything less than a top 20 first round pick for Rogers and we are screwing ourselves over. Even if Rogers is disgruntled, he has no choice but to play for us. Lance Briggs was disgruntled, but he's not anymore and he's still with the bears now. Lito Shepard was disgruntled, but he's still with the eagles. The Redskins hold all the cards with Carlos for 2 more years if the CBA expires and 2-3more years if it doesnt and they want to franchise him 1-2years. Thats plenty of time to work things out and patch up any difference between them. We should NOT, under any circumstances, let him dicate things to us. He signed a contract and thats all there is to it.

As far as Moss goes, we should be able to get a 2nd for him and I wouldnt take anything less.

This article says we're very interested in Jordan Gross. What I don't understand is it speculates that we would pay him LT money to play RT for us... that would be foolish. If we signed him and gave him LT money, we should put him at LT and move Samuels to RT... something we need to do soon anyways.

I don't necessarily think we should pursue Gross (he's 29 and will cost too much), but if we did, it certainly would help our team immensly right away. We could trade down in the first round, pick up a 2nd and then use our first three picks on a center, DL, and LB... all three guys should be able to start immediately.

And Imagine our O-line with Gross-Kendall/Thomas- Mack(draft pick)-Rinehart-Samuels... now THAT would be a beastly line.
