re: Updated: Evaluating the QB Situation (Discuss Campbell, Colt, etc)
This is a pure speculative article. Opinion. Nothing more.
I think all would agree JC deserves to be our QB next year and a chance to improve even more. Now after next year, if he hasn't made any strides or has regressed the organization has a right to offer or not to offer him a contract. As someone who is unsold on JC, I do really like the fact he works his butt off and has improved every offseason. I hope he does the same this year. |

I'm beginning to think some folks just aren't going to be happy no matter who is playing QB for us. Why is no one complaining about Portis' drop in production? Didn't that affect Campbell's ability to pass, or are we blaming Campbell for Portis drop off too? By no means am I complaining about him, it was a team effort to start 6-2 just like it was a team effort (or lack thereof) to go 2-6. The o-line's play directly correlates to the teams record in each half of the season. That's how it went down from where I was sitting. HAIL!!

I think the O line is very important but not totally critical for success as the Steelers didnt have a great O line but what they did have was a QB that could make and extend plays which lead to wins. The Skins didnt have that in their QB. |

I agree. His WRs arent the most talented (no more than the Skins WRs are) but they play with brains and intensity.

Just a thought, but why have two 5+ page threads talking about the same thing. Why not merge them and label it "All things QB and all about JC".
