I'm beginning to think some folks just aren't going to be happy no matter who is playing QB for us. Why is no one complaining about Portis' drop in production? Didn't that affect Campbell's ability to pass, or are we blaming Campbell for Portis drop off too? By no means am I complaining about him, it was a team effort to start 6-2 just like it was a team effort (or lack thereof) to go 2-6. The o-line's play directly correlates to the teams record in each half of the season. That's how it went down from where I was sitting.

CP's drop came from the fact that in the 2nd half of the season the Skins were often behind and had to go away from the run and more to the pass. It didnt affect JC's ability to pass it affected his chance to succeed because he had a larger burden placed on him and he didnt deliver well enough.
I think the O line is very important but not totally critical for success as the Steelers didnt have a great O line but what they did have was a QB that could make and extend plays which lead to wins. The Skins didnt have that in their QB.
