Anyway I'd like to see more draft boards so lets go, get them up.
Do I have to do mine over with pretty colors?

Definitely not. I just had some time between classes.

A prediction I'm still standing by.

Well, thanks to SmootSmack's inability to hold you to a first name, you win!

Saints | Evans signed
Thu, 05 Mar 2009 15:52:08 -0800 Pat Yasinskas, of ESPN.com, reports the New Orleans Saints have signed unrestricted free-agent FB Heath Evans (Patriots) to a two-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Re: Post Your Draft Board

A lot of people have forgotten about how bad our offense was last year, and we've done little about it so far this offseason. This Orakpo talk is ridiculous.

1st rd
Best OT available at #13. Hopefully Oher.

3rd rd.
Best C/G available. Hopefully Wood or Levitre.

I've been one of those talking about DE's like Orakpo although I do remember clearly the ghastly job done by last year's offensive line down the stretch. More than anything I'd like us to get a quality offensive lineman. The problem is that the really good tackles may be gone before 13. And guards and centers generally do not provide value at 13.

Given that reality, I also realize that we need more talent on the DL if we are going to realize the full effect of Fat Al. We'll need folks who either can draw attention from him or can make a big play because AH is getting the focus.

With this latter reality in mind, drafting Orakpo, Ayers, or Jackson may give us the best value, the most bang for the buck, for our #13 slot.

If you still think this is ridiculous talk, then fine. More power to you. But I for one have not forgotten our OL woes. It would be nice to have JC upright and it would be nice to have Portis run right instead of left some day.
