I became a fan in the early 80's. I grew up in Alexandria during the Smurfs, Hogs, Diesel years. After the Pledge of Allegiance we sang Hail to the Redskins and if the Skins won a game we would not have homework. We even had Redskin days. I had the opportunity to meet Riggo before the Superbowl against the Fins. To this day he is my all time favorite player. No one did it like #44.
I worked in the NFL for a couple of years and during that time I would always try to sneak into the pressbox or talk with other employees who were Skins fans. I love the Skins no matter what. Yeah there are times they piss me with some of their bone headed moves off the field off but at the end of the day I could not imagine pulling for any other team. |

It happened so early, i have no recollection. Thank god it happened though. Now, if we can get Dan Snyder and Gilbert Arenas in the single prop cessna with faulty aeronautics, i would be ecstatic(jk).
