Why did it take until week 10 or so for things to start clicking? And are things really clicking when you beat the woeful Raiders? Yes, Campbell has looked better recently -- against the Saints who were missing three defensive starters. People seem to forget the 6 points we managed against the Cowboys. Are we going to have to wait until the second half of every season before Campbell and the offense start to "get it" ?? And is Campbell the type of quarterback who will give you flashes of greatness like this every four or five games or so? That said, he is without a doubt our best option going into 2010. There aren't any free agent QBs worth a damn, and no rookie would give us a snowballs chance next year. So at this point, I say you have to keep him and work on the five guys up front who protect him. Looks like the receivers are starting to shape up into some fairly formidable threats. |
