I would keep Crowley on board but I would get rid of Trembley and Samuel.

Why? Our offense has been terrible and our hitters seem to be regressing.

I dont think its his fault that the Orioles get so many first pitch out's. I think Trmebley has checked out and it shows by how the team is playing. Crowley turned Pie around late last season and he is off to a good start this season(excluding injuries). Let's see if he can get Atkins back to the 300 hitter he used to be.

Plus it should be known that the Orioles dont have a true power hitter nor are they trying to generate runs by stealing bases and playing small ball.

Fair points. But Adam Jones is struggling big time, so is Markakis. Jones CANNOT lay off the low and away pitch, and is just getting used. He could be a power hitter. He certainly has 30-35 HR potential. Getting utility guys like Pie to hit well is great and all, but we need our stars to shine if we want to go anywhere. Trembley is awful though.

The guys apparently had a players only meeting before the game last night. Millwood called for it. Glad to see that worked.

Maybe it was a 8 inning meeting

i wish we would play more small ball. my biggest knock on trembley, besides his horrible timing of when to leave a starting pitcher in vs going to the bullpen, is that he doesnt try and generate runs.

last season, Os would be down by a run or two, man on 1st, 1 out. call a freakin hit or run or something to move that man up to scoring position. instead, we dont do anything and our guy would hit into a double play.

trembley did try a hit and run a few games ago with tejada at the plate and guys on 1st and 2nd. the result? sharp hit to 3rd baseman who steps on 3rd forforce out then throws to 2nd for a double play.

the Os need to play small ball and stop trying to play powerball like the sox and yanks.

I wonder if Eddie Murray is interested in being a hitting coach.
