If all these injuries continue to pile up, they may end up buying McD's another year with Tebow.
Good point. Still not good, though. After living in Colorado Springs for over 7 years, those denver fans expect their team to be VERY good, and they are pretty brutal if they dont meet expectations. Not on the Philly fans level, but close.
You can say that Josh McDaniels is going to be extremely successful at distinguishing his era from the Mike Shanahan era in Denver, provided of course that they stink it up real bad this season.

Re: Notable Injuries Around the League

Broken bone in his hand for Jarvis Moss, couple of weeks and he should be fine

Sprained ankle for Chris Kuper, maybe a day or two, not a big deal

Man the Broncos need to be careful. Tim Tebow can only play so many positions. Still I wonder if McDaniels is overworking his guys. Way to many people dropping in Denver not to take notice.

ESPN reporting that Dallas TE John Phillips is out for the season with a torn ACL. What little I watched from the HOF game, he was catching everything thrown at him.

Wow!! he looked awesome last night, I'm shocked. I thought he would push Martellus bennett for the #2 spot. He had a really good night catching and blocking.

Season at minimal, possible career ending for Holt.

Torry Holt's season is over

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on August 15, 2010 3:21 PM ET
The speculation regarding whether Torry Holt will make the Patriots roster can end, possibly along with Holt's career.

The Patriots placed Holt on injured reserve Sunday, ending his season. Holt was absent from practice the last few days, and his agent tells Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com that Holt will undergo knee surgery this week.

We wondered aloud if Holt would even make the team, and his odds didn't look great with the young players in front of him performing well. Holt is only 34 years old, but it's worth wondering whether his career will continue. He spent almost two months on the open market as a free agent before the Patriots signed him.

The seven-time Pro Bowler will make an interesting Hall of Fame case one day. The peak of his career was truly brilliant, but his production dropped off a cliff after age 31.

With Holt done for the season, Sam Aiken looks like a better bet to make the Patriots.

Damn, another one from the Greatest Show on Turf bites the dust. Still seems like only yesterday they were lighting up the league.

Warner, Holt, Bruce, and Pace all potentially done the same year. Remarkable

So he can replace Gurode? He's a center, after all.

Man, that makes me feel good AND bad that I thought Columbo was center...

Nothing to see here, move along.
