Yeah, what's clear about Oakland now is that they didn't really go into the season with a strong philosophy on how they would throw the football, they went in just kind of figuring that subtracting Russell and adding Campbell and Hue Jackson would just fix whatever was wrong. And rather than start building that philosophy now a little late, they're just going to plug Gradkowski in for Campbell and hope that fixes things.

A spoiler: it won't.

They should still be good for 6 or 7 wins no matter who is at quarterback, and if anything, their offense is going to be better than I predicted because their philosophy of just adding talent and hoping for the best actually worked in the case of Darren McFadden. But even with a two-headed monster RB duo and a running game, they still won't break .500 because they can't protect the passer.
