Re: Game Ball
We may have found a new starting o-line. They get my vote. Also Williams ran the ball well and Santana was outstanding.

Re: Game Ball
It's hard for me to figure someone who didn't play well.

Re: Game Ball
That was some of the guttiest O-line play we've seen in a long time. I thought that both tackles played a great game, and the interior held up well after Rabach and Dockery went down.

Re: Game Ball
That winning kick would've been money from 55. Gano's numerous kickoffs for either touchbacks or pinning the return man on the sidelines were big in the field position game. Losing the OT coin toss was a blessing as we got to drive with the wind when we got the ball.

Re: Game Ball
Gano, since he scored 12 out of the 19 points. If don't like that, then tell the offense to score more TDs.
Huge props to the o-line though, and they overcame injuries...although I wonder that's why they did so well. Which brings the question... What is it about our former and current coaching regime that they can't seem to figure out how to improve the o-line? And by that I mean....Rabach looks bad most of the time, yet they sing his praises. I really hope Montgomery keeps the job of starting center.

Re: Game Ball
Great job all around, but Montgomery had played C before and Leichtensteiger has played all along the interior, yet Heyer has never played G so props to him for stepping up. Keiland did great as well. Kyle called a strong game, and Galloway had a huge 20 yard catch plus got his 700th career reception, passing I believe Gary Clark on the all time list.

Re: Game Ball
Keiland Williams...RB of the future? I know that a Shanahan defense doesn't have a feature back, but if this kid keeps playing the way he is playing, he might keep the starting job. I sill wish him or Torain had CP's pass blocking skills.

Re: Game Ball
We still haven't seen Davis, I'm very curious about him.

Re: Game Ball
With Chad Simpson out, he might be brought up from the PS.

Re: Game Ball
I think it's a given, they should have brought him last week. Simpson seems to be made out of glass.

The O-line scabs did a phenomenal job. I couldn't believe it. I'll never bench Santana (or Steve Johnson for that matter) for Wes Welker in fantasy again this year. And in general I tip my hat to the entire team for their fight today. After being totally demoralized and emasculated on national TV just 6 days ago, they dealt with a short week and won a tough road game with tons of big injuries. Definitely an important win. We got beat to shit last week, but we showed a lot of resiliency today.

Re: Game Ball
This is the easiest game ball in years. It is Casey Rabach for getting hurt. He may be a true tough guy but he is dogshit and has been holding this team back for a few years now.
