Bill Walsh was a master GM along with being a master coach. Shanahan the GM pales in comparison to Walsh.

I say if the Broncos get rid of him, the Redskins should bring him in and coach him.

Nah, I think he just doesn't like inheritances and guys with a big attitude. However, Shanahan is a hard ass in his own right, yet Cutler and Marshall thrived under him.

Besides, coaching a coach and having two young chefs in the kitchen.
