Reid traded McNabb because he had one year left on his deal and they knew they weren't going to re-sign him with Kolb waiting in the wings. I know it's more fun to believe Reid had some sort of diabolical plan in place and thought DM was washed up, even though he was coming off a season where he threw for 3553 yards, 22 TDs, and 10 INTs, and his highest QB rating since 2006.
I don't care what anyone says, DM can still play in this league, he just wasn't a good fit here for a variety of reasons. Shit happens. All this other drama now is just girlie tabloid crap. |

Shit does indeed happen. Year after year. That's why this is getting so much attention. The Shanahan regime was supposed to bring a departure from this sort of stuff. As of yet, no dice. Sure, Redskins Park no longer hast the country club mentality, but can you really say a whole lot more about Shanny/Allen thus far?
