Re: D. Hall is our lone Pro Bowl selection
Quote:
BUT BUT BUT HE'S A PRO BOWLER....lol Kudos to him for having a good game in the Pro-Bowl. A game where they half ass it and most of the people elected don't even bother showing up. When they make the Pro-Bowl mean something (like giving the NFC/AFC home field advantage in Superbowl) then let me know. Quote:
First off, I've never downed anybody who's applauding any of the SKins selection to the Pro-Bowl. It's really a personal choice if you think the guy deserves it or not. I've always thought the guy could be the best CB this game has seen, but he simply doesn't have the discipline to play the position like he should. Look at Nnamdi Asomugha. The guy hardly gets any Ints (unlike D. Hall), but yet he's 10 times the better CB than D. Hall. Why? Because simply QBs won't even throw in his direction nor does he give up TDs. It's funny that D. Hall was paired with this guy and who was the individual that continually got burnt to a point they let him go after 8 games (after giving up a 2nd rounder and tons of cash). BUT BUT I SAW HIM ON ESPN MAKING A PLAY!!! HE'S GOT TO BE GOOOD!!! No, not really. Perception is everything. Reality is generally something totally different. I'm not a D. Hall hater, I just see D. Hall for what he is. A play maker who's also unreliable and inconsistent. Truth be told, Carlos Rogers plays the CB position better than D. Hall in terms of coverage. Too bad that kid has hands of stone or he'd be starting at CB in the pro-bowl OVER D. Hall. |
