BTW sorry Joey T!! Im probably your only fan.

Sweet relief: Millen, Theismann replaced on Thursday nights - Shutdown Corner - NFL*Blog - Yahoo! Sports
Joey T and Millen gone but I'll bet your darn patoey that Aikmen will still be announcing Skins games instead of having him announce Dallas games.

I don't give a crap about who is the top announcer and whether his feelings are hurt because he didn't get to announce the top game, how about hiring an announcer who is either from the area or used to play for the team.

Let Aikmen announce all the Dallas games cause I'm sure to him those games are #1 to him. Now if it's Dallas vs Redskins then there is no harm in having Aikmen if the team is playing in Dallas, but have a Skins announcer for the home game against Dallas. Or.... put Aikmen and Joey T together which would be fair.

In your scheme, every network would need 32 color analysts under contract to assure that every team has "one of their own" in the booth every Sunday.

Let's just say that is not going to happen any time soon.

For a long time on MNF, rivals of the Redskins had to listen to Joe Thiesman call the games. Now you as a Redskin fan will have to listen to Troy Aikman call games - - unless the Skins are so bad that they are never in a game that is worthy of the #1 announcing team. The other alternative is for some former Redskin to demonstrate that he is better than Troy Aikman at color commentary so he can replace Troy on the #1 announcing team.

Look on the bright side. Better Troy Aikman than Emmitt Smith.
