I think he took some sacks he did have to because instead of just chucking the ball out of bounds and living to play another down, he tried pulling the ball down and escaping, which got him sacked.

I'd rather my quarterback throw the ball away on 2nd and 10 and end up in 3rd and 10 then have him try to make a play and end up 3rd and 20.
Definitely agree with you, but I had the feeling the commentators really had a lot of occasions to speak about the difference between intentional grounding and incomplete pass with Grossman...
