Re: Josh Wilson

Although Josh Wilson looked kinda bad in his first redskin preseason game, he still looked better than DeAngelo. This is a position we should watch with caution.

They both looked pretty rusty, but it was the first preseason game. I just hope the defensive backs as a whole unit prevents any big plays. This has been an issue with this area for the past couple of seasons. As I said before, I hope the addition of Atogwe helps out with this problem.

Yeah, I think Atogwe will help against the vertical plays down the middle by staying in good position and keeping things in front of him. He won't make a lot of plays on the ball there, but if he can prevent touchdowns in that deep zone, he's helping.

I don't know if there's anything he can do if receivers like DeSean Jackson continue to get behind our corners in deep coverage. We just have to hope the line can get pressure on quarterbacks when the offense tries to go double move on the outside.

There's your key. The line needs to get pressure. It's amazing how a good DL can make DBs look good!
