Re: Sean Taylor's Contract

OK several points.
1. Portis was drafted in the 2nd round and was getting paid squat for 2 straight 1500 yard seasons before being traded to the skins. He was a top 5 RB in the NFL getting paid like a 2nd or 3rd stringer at RB and at RB what is the average career 5-7 years max??? Come on apples and oranges
2. Moss was in the last year of his deal at $400K and was a proven player in the league who the skins traded for...if you trade for someone in their last year of a deal you are going to give them a new deal or they will sit out...Do you really think Moss would have showed up to camp for $400K after being traded???
3. TO and Sean Taylor they still have MANY years left on their contracts...which they just signed last year!!! I know football is a risky business and you have to get paid when you can but jeeeez they just signed their contracts last year!!!! and they want new ones. Screw 'em let them hold out this year, next year, the year after and on until their contract is up and keep fining them for not showing up to work. What type of power/control do they have??? NONE!!! If they are disgruntled and hurting the team do what Gruden in Tampa Bay did to Keyshawn and put their butts off the team in the middle of the season so they can't play/practice etc...Heck buy them a big screen so they can watch the games...I might not like Snyder but that was hysterical the way he put it to Coles!!
