Good situation or not, rookie QBs did not throw for yards at the pace Newton is throwing at. Sure, some of it is his coordinator being really good, but the QB has to still make plays, and Newton has been making them.

Besides, I think Carolina looked really bad because of poor QB play and their prior offense being rather simplistic. The rest of the team might not have been THAT bad talentw-se. They now have a more dynamic offense and seem to have found their QB.
