I remember when Dick Vermeil was hired to coach the Rams in 1997, here is his record.
1997 ( 5-11) 1998 (4-12) 1999 (13-3) Super Bowl Champs His first 2 seasons everyone was calling for him to be fired, he cant coach any more etc... He left to coach KC and here is his record 2001 (6-10) 2002 (8-8) 2003 (13-3) 2004 (7-9) 2005 (10-6) I think Dick Vermeil is simular to Mike Shannahan during his career. Dick Vermeil won 1 Suoer Bowl with Kurt Warner and had success with Trent Green in KC. Vermeil coached the Eagles from 1976-1982 and went to the Super Bowl in 1980 with Ron Jaws as his QB, They lost to the Raiders. Looking at his success Vermeil had a Great QB in Kurt Warner 2 good QB's in Green and Jaws. Shanny needs to get his QB to get this franchise back to winning.
