Re: Ramsey vs. Boller - why the hype?

My personal opinion on the the difference in how the media looks at the two has to do with the fact that the Ravens have been a consistent contender the past few years and even won the SB 2 years before Boller got to town. Plus he's been the regular starter except when injured, whereas Ramsey, through some fault of his own and the coaching staffs since being drafted, has been taken in and out of the starting spot on multiple occasions.
But I think the main issue has to do with the fact that with the ravens defense and the o-line and running game at his disposal, Boller should be leading them further at this point of his development than he has. I mean if freaking Trent Dilfer can lead the Ravens to the SB, why shouldn't Boller be able to either or atleast close to it.
I hope this season, Gibbs and company leave Ramsey be for a while even if he at any time starts to waver, but we have to find out this season if he's the qb of the team for the future or if the teaching of cambell needs to be quickened a bit.
