Re: NFL Playoff Predictions
The offense right now is tailored around Vick. He's a running QB. He's a left-handed QB.
Bringing anyone else in will throw everything and everyone off. This is not the savior of the Eagles: ![]()

Re: NFL Playoff Predictions
I think NFL players are slightly more adaptable than this - the Eagles were pretty successful when Vick went down and Kolb took over, - Foles looked excellent so far in the preseason against first team D

By the time he filled in for Vick, he had a handfull of games under his belt. Foles is still a rookie like the ugly version of Kolb we saw. There's definitely an adjustment period when any starting QB goes down unless there's a system in place and all QBs fit that system, like in Houston, New England or Green Bay. That's why we saw the Patriots STILL make the playoffs with Matt Cassel taking over for Brady and Matt Flynn puts up 50 points for the Packers. I don't see that setup with the Eagles and Vick. They should have held onto Vince Young as backup, he's a mobile Vick-like QB. Against us for the Bills this preseason, he proved he can still outrun the D. In Philly now, they have backups that play completely different than their starter. So do we, but our #1 hasn't proven to be injury-prone yet.
