Regardless, there are ways of creating cap money. Such as releasing under performers like DeAngelo Hall. Everyone is still talking about the 18 million $$$$ in cap space that was lost. So what. Why would Montgomery and Chester be gone? That's not likely.. Monty is coming off a pro bowl type season. There is no way they would let him go.

And....Mike Shanahan is not going anywhere.

The problem with that, of course, is that the Skins don't have a first round draft pick until 2015.
