Every player knows that they have to play to get paid. They know that if they are not playing for their current team this season, what they do on the field is assessed not only by their current team, but, but 31 other teams in the league during the off season.

This is NOT the NBA or MLB where player contracts are guaranteed. Where "tanking it" or "mailing it in" for better draft position are common. And that slogan from last year attached to the Colts (Suck for Luck) is a load of crap. Each players future for the next season is linked directly to their effort and output on the field.

Say or think what you want. But mailing it in during the season is a bunch of crap.

Did you watch the Cowboys play under Wade Phillips last few games..... they should forever be hyperlinked to the phrases "tanking it" or "mailing it in".
