maybe because he played like a champ in NO, then got here and has been the most underwhelming player in the past 5 years, unless of course you count McFlabb. The guy is a pain in the franchises neck (or knee), since he is an expensive IR addition all the time, and we have to expose our franchise QB to journeyman backup tackles that get beat on a consistent basis. But even when he did play, he was VERY mediocre, almost bad.

JB didn't play like a champ in NO, that's part of why they traded him. he got like a millionity false starts called on him. not saying he was a chump, but it was a bit of a surprise when they let him go. our mistake was giving him a big contract, or not doing due dilligence i guess. he's still not making tons for a starting tackle, but for a guy that isn't playing... that hurts. |
