Heres whats going to happen. The pats are going to be great at first with Amendola, everyone in New England is going to be like Wes who? Then Amendola is going to get hurt somewhere around games 4-6 and be out for 4-5 weeks and they'll slump again, then Amendola will come back and get hurt again. New England will still make the playoffs, but Manning will torch them with Welker, Decker and Thomas, all the way to the Super Bowl where they play San Fran.

Pretty much what's going to happen. Amendola can't carry Welker's jock.

I agree with the injuries, Broncos will lose in the playoffs though, again. It will be either New England/Pitt vs ATL/GB. It seems like one of those years everyone will forget about Pitt and they go and win the superbowl.

Who does Pitt get to replace James Harrison, Casey Hampton, (maybe) Keenan Lewis, Mike Wallace, Max Starks, Mendenhall. Add to that the fact that Polamalu has been getting hurt more, and Heath Miller is coming off a torn ACL (he may be a FA too..?) I just don't see it. I see Cincy winning that division. Hell even Baltimore I can see being better than them with all their losses.

The only player on the list of players they lost worth mentioning was Keenan Lewis and Mike Wallace. Wallace was not worth the amount. Hampton and Harrison were old and done... Remember how they were going to struggle after losing Joey Porter? I don't think anyone in Pitt remembers Joey Porter. Starks was getting old and didn't look good this entire year. I am sure they will be fine.

Baltimore has the potential of losing half of their defense and Cincy is in it. I like Cincy. I just think they will always be an almost team.

The only concern for Pitt that I have is if they can keep Big Ben healthy. If he stays healthy they will have a shot at a superbowl. They are just that team that when you forget about them (like the Giants) they end up winning a superbowl or making a playoff run.

The NFLs a funny league and anything can happen. I agree with Atlanta/Green Bay and New England. Houston is a team who is losing key guys, but they'll adjust (has anyone posted that Ed Reed is supposed to meet with Houston tomorrow?), because they draft well. This Indy team is going to be interesting with all these FAs and young draft picks.

Anything can happen, that is why I am not going to count out Pitt. Any team with an elite QB has a chance for a superbowl.

Indy lost an important receiver in Avery, and I am not so sure about the coaching situation. They just seemed to be the typical overachiever and feel good story and I don't think they will have a consistent winning team. But we will see. Plus the colts are making a lot of noise right now. A lot of changes sometimes is not always a good thing.

Should be interesting with Houston. Schaub is still there which makes me question them but most people were questioning Flacco all the way to the superbowl.

Their running game got better with Dwyer and Redmen. Jason Worilds was a beast at VA. Tech and he will step in for Harrison and they won't miss a beat. Steelers always have a drafted guy that's ready to take over for an older vet that's on his way out.

Good teams usually have players who haven't had much playing time, but who the coaches believe will be ready to step into a role. I expect both Pitt and Baltimore to have those guys on their roster, and I think the Skins may finally be getting to that place too. Just because a guy doesn't beat out an all-pro who is established on the roster doesn't mean that he won't be able to become an all-pro in his own right.
