Re: First place Redskins
I forget who said it (I heard it on either NFL Network or ESPN), but I agree with it...Whoever wins the PHI vs WAS game will win the division.
Obviously it wouldn't be ideal to lose to Buffalo this weekend, but none of the other NFC East teams are going to win out - so losing to an AFC team won't be the end of the world. We beat Philly it's over. I say this mainly because I believe there is no way in hell this team loses to Dallas again. Of course anything is possible, and if for some sad reason they do lose to Dallas again, then they have no fight, no heart, and don't deserve to represent the division in the playoffs anyway. |

Bills have a nice young corner named Ronald Darby who will be making his first home coming as a pro ,you guys need to keep an eye on him.

Eagles *should* lose to Cardinals. If we beat the Bills that means we *should* expect to be going into Philly next Saturday with a 1 game lead in the division. If we can beat the Bills & Eagles and end up 8-7, while the Eagles & Giants are both 6-9 going into their Week 17, then I that would make the game in Dallas meaningless since losing that one still leaves us with best record. Honestly, I think if the 'Skins win their next two games there is a good chance the division is wrapped up due to who the Giants and Eagles still have to play. Even if the 'Skins lose to the Bills, neither of the other teams are winning out, so it still makes the game in Philly the likely most important game remaining on the schedule. |

Re: First place Redskins
How sweet would a playoff run that included beating the Seahawks at home, and Panthers on the road be. Even losing to Az in Az wouldn't be that bad at that point.
Ahh, koolaid ... filler up ![]() |

Re: First place Redskins
The key to our first place status is the development of Kirk Cousins and the hiring of our GM, Scott McC. How many years in the last 20 have we seen so many draft picks and UDFA make such big contributions? The cause of that is because we finally hired the best personnel evaluator in the NFL -our current GM. This team still has some hole but every year the McLovin' makes the personnel decisions we will just get better and better. Personally I think we can win the division it bods well for the future. I'm getting more optimistic every game and will be at the Philly game to root our beloved team on. Hopefully I don't get murdered in the process!
