Very similar to what you see with Russell Wilson.

Even with out banged up secondary I think the defense has enough to contain that offense.

As far as Green Bay's defense goes? I think we have enough weapons to put points on them.

The biggest key is to be up by more than 7 as the 4th quarter is winding down so you remove the "Rodgers magic" element from the game. I expect he will make a few of those plays throughout the course of 4 quarters, but the key is not to lose the game on one of those kinds of plays.
If I remember correctly they've had a patchwork wide receiver core this year. It all started when they lost Jordy Nelson for the year back in training camp. Hopefully that bodes well for us but I feel like as soon as teams sleep on the Packers they are able to take control. No way we take this for granted though.

Re: Week 17

LMAO....Johnny Manziel has gone AWOL and Cleveland is acting like they have lost contact with him.
So Cleveland will definitely take a QB with the second pick.
They could add RG3 or Kapperdick for a competition barn.

True shit. It sounds like the Browns and Manziel are both sick of each other. Dream scenario is JJ takes on Manziel. I just don't see him maturing enough within the next couple years to be a competent starter. He is acting like one of those guys that is going to have to bounce around for a little bit before he realizes his opportunities are running out.

Re: Week 17

GB at home is not the worst thing that could have happened. I'm not too encouraged about how the D allowed Kellen Moore to put up 400+ yds...I realize we were sitting some players, but still...if there is a liability on this team it is the Defense, which isn't great news when facing a future hall of fame QB. Hopefully they can get it together.

If we can somehow win two more games, we could end up hosting Seattle for the NFC Championship!

Week 17

Kellen Moore threw for the most overrated 400 yards in NFL history. It was basically a preseason game for the D especially after the 21-0 lead.

^ This.

I wanted to play GB. They are a mess right now. The Vikings gave GB some life by not being able to close. I think we'll beat the daylights out of GB. We won't ease up on them or try to fumble the game away like Minnesota did.

I definitely did not want to play Seattle. They are way too strong right now.

Re: Week 17

I'm glad we aren't playing Seattle so I don't have to listen to every analyst on every channel and site slobber all over them. Commentators talk about them like they are 16-0. Vikings are my 2nd favorite team this weekend. That and Seattle fans are all professional trolls. Guaranteed they are already all over every Vikings board/article flapping their gums.
