You would think that a Giants fan would have more respect for defensive line play.

Are you kidding me? Like seriously I would love to know... People are comparing him to Reggie White. True, my concern is his durability, but give me a break, he is ABSOLUTELY dominant. He takes double and even triple teams almost every snap. Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade.

It's hard to hold a conversation with Albert Haynesworth without thinking about labels. Troublemaker. The guy who stomped on Andre Gurode. Injury-prone. Maybe a bit of a slacker. The $100 million man. The next Reggie White or Bruce Smith.

I will be happy as long as he plays 6-7 games a year!(exaggeration, but not much) Our D was good with Monty and Griff. And we have depth to cover games like Detroit KC TB etc. The only games he should play until post season are Div and Panthers.

Ok, I am not 100% serious. but if he misses the Detroit and StLouis games, I wont cry a river.

THANK YOU SS... There are plenty of people that are. Interesting you want to harp on that after you said something about him being dominant. Does he need to play all sixteen games or play high quality snaps like he did with TN? Which is it? If he was with Dallas, you would be Hoovering him like a mofo.

Just be objective and admit that you're concerned.

Re: Redskins/Giants Opening Day Predictions

I think the Giants really struggle out of the gate this year finding cohesiveness on offense without much of a passing game.. 24-10 Redskins.

Portis lead the league with 86 first downs last year. I did not know that.

17-13 Redskins. It'll be a defensive slugfest. Campbell will do well though.

Now thats the kind of math I'd like to see. Unfortunately Dallas will probably kill Tampa in that game but hey we can still dream right?

Eh. Tampa's got as much if not more roster talent than Dallas does. They've won 19 games in the last two seasons, the Cowboys have won only 22. The key is whether or not they've made enough progress this preseason (lots of roster turnover) to reach the level we already know the Cowboys are at.

I have no ability to predict that, so I'm just giving the benefit of the doubt to my homerism and picking against Dallas.

Yep, just waiting for reality to slap me in the face again. It's a shame because I have ocean front property on cloud 9 and I rarely get to use it. Hopefully I don't have to leave early again this year.
