Re: Skins vs Saints predictions
When we beat them, IMO we will not credit for it from most of the media.

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions
If the Saints do lose, most likely the postgame stories from national media will focus on why the Saints lost rather than why the Redskins won. It's been a trend whenever we beat a strong team like that in the past. Case in point, when the Redskins beat the Giants in the first game last year, I didn't hear anybody talking about how Rex Grossman played, or what the defense did, it was all about which Giants played poorly and who to blame for the loss.

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions
I'd love to see us go out and kick the dog shit out of them. 45-7 or something redicilous. Honestly Id love nothing more than gross an starting the 4th quarter bc of such an add whipping and then have media be all over our nuts. Thats my best case scenario

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions
I think the only way we can win this if we have our running game going full speed which will ultimately keep Brees and that high powered offense on the sideline. Going toe to toe in scoring points isn't going to work in our favor, and asking a rookie QB to go out there and match a hall of famer's performance on his first game would be asking a bit too much. If our defense can get some quality stops and we keep the chains moving, we can definitely win this. ("If" being key word here)
Saints- 27 Skins - 17

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions
Keep in mind people that the Saints AVERAGED 41+ points and almost 500 yards of offense in their 8 home games last year... NUTS!
Brees & Co. facing our secondary (See # 2 below)?? Whew... That, and look at the tough breaks for us in a 2 week period... 1) We lose Jackson & Meriweather. 2) We will be forced to watch coverage skills of D. Hall, C. Griffin, and R. Doughty for 40+ pass attempts. 3) They get 2 very good defensive starters reinstated just for us.... Tough draw game one... We will hold them below their average at least I think... lol Hope I'm wrong... but... Saints - 38 Redskins - 16
