Re: Week 15
Actually I'd rather have Seattle at Fedex. Maybe we can rough up the turf where Wilson might run, maybe install some popup sprinklers!

Re: Week 15
I would rather Seattle as well but for different reasons. Four years ago, it was Seattle that, ultimately, burst the RGIII bubble. A home playoff game is likely the last game RGIII will be a Redskin. Seems to sort of close the loop.

Re: Week 15
It's amazing when you think about it, Seattle has eliminated us from the playoffs the last 3 times we made it.

Re: Week 15
No Tampa did when we had brad Johnson and I believe we've only made it twice since then right?

However, if we end up in the playoffs and playing against Seattle, I hope this becomes a bit of a redemption game for Cousins. Since I believe he took over after RG3 went down and wasn't able to do much.

Re: Week 15
That Tampa playoff loss hurt so bad. I remember I worked weekends at that time in my life and I took a 3 hour lunch "break" in the back of our building to watch the game in a well hidden break room most folks never used. Flubbing a FG and then when we made Shaun King fumble but the ball rolled right to Warrick Dunn who ran for a first down.
Ugh..... It just seems like our last 4 playoff appearances there has been something in our own power that changed the game for the opponent and it had little to do with them. Our team fell apart every time. |
