People say they don’t care, but they do. Especially the ones that wanted to see him crash and burn, or chase the money to NY.

He still chased money as he can get 30 million a year in Minnesota provided they win the Superbowl each year.

He gets a 2 million dollar bonus every year they do.

Re: Thank You Kirk Cousins Thread

When I heard the Skins had acquired Smith I moved on from Kurt😉 . Now with Kc in minn anything less than super bowl is deemed unacceptable I have to think back when all the skins had to do was beat the frickin Giants ....hmmm my bet is with the bar set that high in Vikings land I’m not sure they got the right guy for the job.. In fact I can’t believe that they let Case go ..think of the outrage if the redskins went 13 -3 got to championship game and then cut that Qb! I believe that all of this could be a big mess for Minnesota..in fact Keemun in Denver might be a great move and I love Smith here in DC ! Going to be fun to watch this all play out! Rest assured whether this thread gets closed or not Cousins in minny will be a topic of fans for a long time might as well embrace it !

He would have got that from the Jets without winning it all, and nowhere near the pressure to win.

Keep on hating.

I am not hating I am laughing at the Vikings they remind of the Skins during the Vinny years.

Maybe. Cousins said he was just fired up. Haven't ssen him or anyone connected to him say any different.

Kirk Cousins after comeback win: “You like that?” – ProFootballTalk

Wish Bruce Allen had "liked that" enough to sign Cousins to a reasonable contract while he could.

Yes because as we all know Vinny built a Super Bowl contending roster here.

Re: Thank You Kirk Cousins Thread

Another stat I just heard but haven't had a chance to look it up is Kirk has had the 3rd most INT's on 3rd down over the last 3 years. Per NFL RADIO on Sirius XM.. They were discussing Case vs Kirk, which IMO there is no doubt KC is the better QB but yes he has had his share of crucial INT's on big downs as we have all seen. Also has 22 Int's in the 4th QTR in that span.

Traded a 1st for Bradford. Let the QB who got them to NFC championship walk. And just paid way too much for a QB who is already thinking about his next contract. At least Haynesworth signed a 7 year deal.

Re: Thank You Kirk Cousins Thread

Wow. Let it go. I would have been happy if KC had stayed. B/c I like Smith, I am not crushed that he is gone.

In hindsight - Did he go diva? Sure. Was he a solid QB? Yup. Did BA f*** by not locking him up long term two years ago? Yup. Did that screw-up cost us a good young player in Fuller? Yup. Is Alex Smith a better QB? IMHO, Yup.

I am just glad the drama is over and we can get move forward. Cousins is gone and there is lots of blame to go around.

Right now, the Skins are making good moves (and non-moves) in the off-season and have a QB who wants to be here and who fits the scheme in place.

Just. Move. On.

Did Allen screw up?

For the last 3 years his INTs have climbed his QB rating has declined and the Skins have not won a playoff game.

He got fair offers for what he brought to the team, heck the 53 million guaranteed money offered was pretty generous in my opinion.
