Who knows if this is true, but I've wondered recently if Dan did have to make a change with Bruce how would he do it in a way for him to save face as the son of a Redskins icon. I actually think that would be important to him. If he did demote him, they could spin the decision as Bruce wanting to take a less involved role for personal reasons. Looks like he's potentially a good backup. Could they trade Colt for anything you think? Probably not, but even cutting him will save cap space. Even if they keep a 3, I do feel better having a younger guy on the team. I was a little worried about having two older guys. Big Hogan fan, was a solid QB at Stanford (poor man’s version of Andrew Luck). From McLean, VA and a smart guy. Worth a risk.
