WaPo reporting partial ACL/LCL tears.

Robert Griffin III has partial tears of ACL and LCL, MRI suggests

You don't need a medical degree or even stay at a Holiday Inn Express to saw that. Some things are just blatantly obvious. That was one of them.

Again, I think after this, those duties should be stripped from Shanahan and put on the world renowned doctor they've hired.

Grant Paulsen ‏@granthpaulsen

Mike Shanahan said he didn't speak to the doctors between Robert Griffin's 1st quarter re-aggravation & when the QB came back into game.

^^See...this shit is a problem. A huge problem.
I couldn't agree more
To say this is no ones fault is bullshit
Read the game thread,90 percent of us realized in the 2nd qtr Rg3 needed to be replaced by Cousins, even Matty joined the thread to say put in Cousins
If Rg3 was healthy and this happened, then no one would be to blame
This is absofukinlutely on Shanahan, and to a lesser extent RG3 himself

wasn't he standing on it on his own on the sideline? usually these guys are gritting their teeth, getting carted off the field in obvious agony. is griff that tough?

Not so. Chris Clemons, who was injured yesterday, has a torn ACL. He walked off the field and to the lockerroom.

Also, I am sure he was on a lot of painkillers.

You didn't see the part when he went back to the locker room? Pain shots man, Pain shots... Does anyone here really believe he didn't tear those ligaments 4 weeks ago? Come on now....

He probably torn those ligaments on that fumble snap. I am sure a health player's knee gets f'ed up the way that knee twisted.

Yep there's the one good gif of it where you can see him look at his leg and then basically collapse straight down (face in dirt). Whatever the really bad thing is in this diagnosis, that is when it happened, imo.

Why would he tear ligaments taking a snap?

No way ANY doctor clears a NFL player to play with torn ligaments. And if Shanahan did do put him in knowing that, he would never coach again.

i've been been pumped full of pain killers, they do not literally kill the pain. they dial it down big time, but it's still very present.

i don't believe he tore them 4 weeks ago, mark me naive?
