They may give him time but his team has looked pretty bad since the opener and are 0-5. Meanwhile, Rodgers has the Steelers at 3-1 and looking like a real contender. I get that no one felt the Jets were going to the SB, but most expected more than their abysmal start. If they keep getting torched, Glenn will get fired soon.

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel

After this week teams will have either finished playing 5 or 6 games.

Seat is hot for some, others could depend on how season plays out or how playoffs fare.

Giants- Dart might just save Daboll’s job. How many wins must Dart have? Dart if healthy all season will end up starting 14 games. He’s 2-1. My guess is 6 wins; which would give him a 6-8 record. That would be enough to convince Mara to bring the crew back.

Panthers- Panthers improve to 3-3. With Tepper you never know. What does he expect. Panthers are playing better but they might not win enough for a playoff run. Will he be happy they are getting closer?

Cards- Cards are playing teams close but not earning wins. That might spell doom for Gannon.

Titans- Callahan only has a win so far. He’s now the current fav to get fired first.

Browns- Regardless of how many games Gabriel and Sanders play; you can tell Stefanski time is limited. It’s been 6 years. The QB decisions aren’t on him but he will pay the price. Unless Sanders wins games when he eventually gets in; Browns like drafting a new qb next year. Probably want a new coach. Also, will the Browns take the cap pain next year and cut Watson. Browns can’t really go forward as a team until that Watson contract is off the books.

Bengals- Taylor is having bad luck with Burrow. Burrow just might be to injury prone to have a long career. His injury probably buys him an excuse for this year but if Bengals don’t show up the rest of the way with Grandpa Flacco; would Brown change things? I doubt it but you never know. Brown is a cheap owner.

Ravens- It’s looking more like this year will be a losing record. Currently 1-5 but the Ravens do have a favorable schedule to make a wild card run. If Ravens make playoffs; Harbaugh is expected to make a Superbowl run. Maybe Ravens have reached the farthest they can go with Harbaugh and it maybe time after 18 years to get someone else to get over the hump.

Dolphins- McDaniel is probably another coach who could be fired in season. Only 1 win so far.

Jets- Winless Glenn could really be one and done. With that likely #1 pick; Woody Johnson may want an offensive coach to develop his new qb. Jets have had plenty of one and done coaches; so don’t be surprised.

Bills- With the Chiefs not as good this year, this could be the year someone else represents the afc. If McDermott doesn’t get over the hump this year; will Pegulas still have patience.
