Re: Taylor & Courts

I did not see it, and I hope nobody else did. It has been awful quiet lately about this whole ordeal and I am just thinking of the worst. Don't get me wrong, I sure hope he is innocent and not convicted of any crime.

Re: Taylor & Courts

It's really a nine year minimum because it's going to be difficult to prove that he "assulted" one person, and not the other two. That said, it should be ever harder to prove he did it at all, espicially since he might not have.

Re: Taylor & Courts

No body here knows enough details about what happened to make any prediction. How can you say he will do time before he's been convicted? If this is still America, then he's innocent until the charges are proven in court, not on the Internet.

It looked bad for him in the Virginia DUI case until a real judge looked at the real evidence. The state trooper said he failed the sobriety test and was drunk. The judge looked at the evidence and said that he not only passed the test, but that he clearly was not resisting arrest. In other words, he should never have been charged with anything in the first dam place.

What I hope for is a fair trial and that justice is served, whatever the outcome. And whatever the outcome, both the Redskins and Taylor will get through it.

Re: Taylor & Courts

I agree. You'd think there would be this little thing called evidence that the prosecution might be able to drum up.

I DO think they might have a strong case for assault, but since there is no gun, you must acquit.

Re: Taylor & Courts

I agree, does anyone know what hard evidence the state of FL has as far as the gun issue?

Re: Taylor & Courts

After reading the most recent article, I am not surprised one bit. I called this weeks ago. Taylor was the victim and this was one huge witchunt. It looks like the D.A. in Miami is just another fool with an agenda.

The CBA talks prepared me well for this stuff. I'm not worried, things will work out.

Re: Taylor & Courts

With Taylors lawyers requesting that the charges be droped because the procutor did not enlighten the defense about the "victoms" current arrests since the incident involving Taylor, does this help Taylor? From what the article in the Washington Post stated the "victoms" have since ben arrested for drugs, gun charges, and stealing ATV's (imagine that). Will this be enough to have the case thrown out or at least the charges reduced or droped?

Warpath Lawyers, what is your opinion on the latest news?

Re: Taylor & Courts

I just heard on sports talk 980 that the motion to dismiss the case by the defense was denied.
