Re: Brian Mitchell Show

But there's nothing he can do about the location or the road infrastructure around the stadium.

i guess its all in what you seem important in life. i love the redskins, but if its between a bigger and nicer home and tickets, guess what loses? nice car or tickets? and by the way, you got any tickets for sale?

Re: Brian Mitchell Show

If they want a good atmosphere, they need to offer free tickets to college kids, then the stadium will be rockin..............snyder "needs" the extra money though, so no incentives like that wont be adopted. But seriously, imagine if we had a "student" section, the other team wouldnt be able to hear themselves.

Wise words. I wish he still played for the Skins.
I disagree with BMitch a bit here...I am going to the game Sunday and I intend to start with the noise until they give me a reason not to cheer. It's Dallas for f-cks sake...they deserve a hype building at 1:05...what they do with it from there and how we repond is up to them.

Re: Brian Mitchell Show

Blaming Snyder for Fed Ex fields problems is assinine...you may as well pin the Kennedy assisination on him as well.

I think BMitch was saying that the team needs to perform, not just expect the fans to Rah-Rah regardless.

If I was lucky enough to be there I'd be loud from 10:00am until the cops drag me out.

I agree with that if that's what he meant...it's going to be a testy crowd...it will start hype but as soon as it goes bad the crowd will turn on them. Especially at Brunell. I don't plan on booing personally...but I think this is going to be an angry crowd if they don't get off to a good start.

Re: Brian Mitchell Show

why are there so many dallas fans around here???? are there a lot of people who used to live out there, or their families did, or were they so sick of the redskins losing that they quit on em. Or are these just people seeking attention, or a combination of all that........your thoughts.

For a long while it was not just Dallas, it was any team the Redskins were playing against. There is a history behind the reasons though things did begin to get better in the early 70's when they began to have some success under the late George Allen.

Re: Brian Mitchell Show

not so sure you can blame synder. As the guys have pointed out, infrastructure, location, and size (large, prior to additions) were all out of his control. We can, however, take issue with the escalation in prices, which are prohibitively expensive the proletariat. I mean, 1 day at Fedex costs more than the tax rebates (not getting political)...
