I bet he and Portis could run the option very well, even though it usually doesn't work in the NFL.

Remember Brunell trying to pitch to ARE earlier in the year?

Anyway, here's something you don't see everyday. If he's going to line up at Qb, why not run the old option with him and Portis?

I think when we get Campbell finally playing I'd love to see ARE line up at QB and campbell out wide. Not that they would pass it but Campbell at least gives the appearance of athleticism out there.

I'd also like to see some direct snaps to ARE.

Anything to get the ball into hi shands creatively and make one more thing defenses have to cover.

I was just thinking about a direct snap to ARE and roll out and pass to Cooley running a crossing route about 15 yds down the field and/or in the red zone.

Thank you sir. I'm still at the end of my career, but I'm a starter baby.

Re: Play coach w/ Randel El

I would love to see the Skins switch formations and split Brunell out, bring Randle El under center, have Randle El run the option with Portis as the trailer. A variation to that play is to have the same motion as the option and send the third receiver deep for an option pass.

Have him dump it off to Brunell in the flat on 3rd and 12 and make him try for the first a few hundred times. Well, with Brunell, he'd be crippled after a couple tries.

Put him back there and let him throw it. He thows better than the starter.
