thanks to joe gibbs the ultimate redskins leader of men and a great role model for others to follow .thanks for giving one redskin fan alot of memories that i,ll cherish for the rest of my life and carry on forever.thanks joe gibbs for the chance to meet you back in 1993 when you first retired as coach now that truly broke my heart and i shed a tear or two then but like now understood why you did so i will say last but not least thanks and enjoy your raceteam in charlotte and please keep an eye on dan synder for all of us since you will be a special advisor for the skins.. thanks for giving us some stability ..one other thing thanks for beating up on them cowboys..job well done.you have my support with joe gibbs racing and whatever else you do in your 2nd retirement..

- Two miraculous drives to the playoffs in the last three years.
- Being able to have 3 Superbowl pictures on my walls
- Being able to trash talk about 8 Broncos fans out the room during SB XXII

- Being the guiding hand of faith, composure and comfort during the difficult time of Sean Taylor's death.

All the best to Joe & his family & much gratitude for the years of greatness in the first go round, plus the years of excitement & hope that he brought in his second stint.

This will undoubtably be talked about this weekend by those paid to do so, but I feel Gibbs' second stint here was a sucess & added to his legacy. He got us in the playoffs with some exciting wins & has left the team in good shape. Can't ask for anything more from him, may he enjoy retirement.

Thank you so much Coach Gibbs, as I realized this morning that you were the primary coach of the Redskins for more than half of my life. I love the person you are and the Hall of Fame coach that you are. You are the best leader that I have ever seen, and as a swim coach today I take a lot of the lessons that you personified. I know that you are going to serve as an advisor to the Redskins and are a true Redskin for life. I wish we had a few more years with you as our head coach, but I realize that you are true to your word and that your family needs you too. You are apart of our family forever. Thanks for the memories, Joe. Thanks for bringing this franchise back to some degree of respectability, instead of leaving it in about as poor condition as it can be, and mostly, thanks for guiding this team through this troubling season.

I didn't really get to enjoy Gibbs v1.0 and I wont' be able to say I got to see Gibbs v2.0 go to the Bowl. But I do have to say thanks for the fact that this team is a hell of a lot better than it was when he first came back.

Good job Joe. Shame we couldn't see more.
