Screw that. If the Skins take Hardy over Nelson I'll be pissed. I don't care if Hardy is a "first round talent." For everyone here that doesn't like Chris Henry, think twice about supporting a guy like that. Nelson is a character guy that produced in college, and is known as a hard worker. All we need is a guy to compliment Moss and Cooley and personally Nelson is perfect for that role. If anything I would see him getting 500 yards for us next year with regular 800 yard seasons down the line, including maybe a strech of 1,000 yard seasons.

It just that the other skill position players seem so much easier to come by via FA than linemen. I might puke if we draft a WR. We can get a comparable WR in 2 or 3 I'd bet.
Defensive Lineman are hardly shoe in's. In my opinion the safest picks in any draft are linebackers, saftey's, and offensive lineman. After that it's Defensive Lineman, Cornerbacks, Wide Reciever, and Quarterback. In fact the difficulty of drafting quality defensive lineman might be the reason why Merling gets passed up by the Vikings, since they've had trouble with their own pair of first round defensive ends in Udeze and James. The Chiefs also have had mixed results drafting D-Lineman in that they missed with Sim's but hit with Hall.

I guess in the end it all depends as to what your situation is.
