Re: Your final 53
nah, we gotta keep tryon, he's still young and we need to at least give him 2-3 years.. QB and CB are the hardest positions to play and it takes time and it takes getting burnt to learn. He will learn

Re: Your final 53
Lets start with the guys we know are making the team:
Campbell, Collins, Brennan Portis, Betts, Cartwright Sellers Moss, Randle El, Thrash, Kelly, D. Thomas Cooley, Yoder, Davis Samuels, Jansen, Kendall, R. Thomas, Rabach, Heyer, Fabini, Rinehart 23 on offense Suisham, Brooks or Frost, Albright J. Taylor, Carter, Griffin, Golston, Montgomery, Evans McIntosh, Fletcher, Washington, Blades Springs, Smoot, Rogers, Torrence Landry, Doughty 16 on defense Okay, so the offense should be a lot easier to figure out than the defense. They don't need anything more at any specific position, so I'm guessing they keep Mason and Geisinger to make 25 players on offense. If they keep another WR, I think Mix gets the nod, but if he's not healthy enough to play in the last preseason game, they will open with 5 WRs. Defense is much more wide open, obviously. I'm starting to think that they are only going to keep 5 linebackers...they just haven't made much of an effort to improve the position. Alfred Fincher stays, the rest go. On the DL, I could see them keeping up to ten, with Alexander and Boschetti reinforcing the tackles, and Erasmus James and Rob Jackson adding some additional situational pass rushers to the mix. This opens the door for ten members of the secondary to be on the 53 man roster. The team will be able to give Justin Tryon more time to develop without forcing him to be active, and they will be able to keep Richardson at the beginning of the season, along with the other 5 corners. Richardson may not finish the year with the team, but I think he'll be on it Week One. The rookies Kareem Moore and Chris Horton will fill out the roster at safety, with Vernon Fox on the wrong side of the bubble.

I totally agree with you on this. Except. Tryon has to truly step his game up!!! I like Justin Hamilton so far..But the number dictate he is likely going to be on the PS. |

Re: Your final 53
Evans is a lock. He is firmly entrenched as a 3rd down DT over Golston and Monty. I suspect Wilson is in bubble trouble.

He's not stalking you. He's correcting your inconsistencies, reading your pm's to be sure that they are not inflammatory, checking your ip to ensure you're not a previously banned individual, tracking down your home address so that he can notify the authorities in case you become violent, following your every move as a purely preventive measure ... oh wait.

Re: Your final 53
I would rather have rob jackson if he shows he;s better in camp and in preseason.. Yes he got us 4 sacks last season but Rob Jackson is younger and was a draft pick.. there is going to be alot of good players cut from teams so it's not like a bunch of teams in the NFL will be waiting for other teams to cut players, because they will have to be cutting players too!

Re: Your final 53
I'm surprised so many of you are keeping McMullen.
I believe that spot is better used as O-Line depth. We have so many quality backups and after last year, it's smart to keep as many as possible on the roster. With Moss, El, Thrash and the 2 rookies, that's plenty of hands to catch the ball...plus Portis is supposed to catch 50+ (would be career high), then we have 2 or 3 TEs to receive with Cooley being a huge part of the offense...then Betts and maybe even Sellars occasionally. Campbell has plenty of quality targets. I'd add in Wade and leave off McMullen.
