Re: Shanahan out in Denver
The "Rat" is out!! That's what my Raiders friends call him, cause when he smiles he looks like a RAT.

Re: Shanahan out in Denver
About time too, he's been using his DCs as scapegoats for years.
Saying it is down to talent doesn't wash either, he is the guy calling the personnel moves.

Re: Shanahan out in Denver
There's already a thread on ExtremeSkins (I got desperate while WP was down) saying that we should fire Zorn and hire Shanahan.

Umm. I eluded to that when I said I wanted to be the first. lol. How could he help us. lol. just kidding though I would rather have the OC Rick Dennison. He has been their staple for O-line coach. |

Re: Shanahan out in Denver
After Elway left, did he win a playoff game? I agree with Davy, this is a coach who had been pretty much teflon for the last 3 or 4 years.

Re: Shanahan out in Denver
I say find another position for our current OC and bring in Dennison. Then we have to get crafty with getting rid of Hixon and bringing in Christensen from the Colts. Talk about having a team with coaching talent. !!!

Wow, straight up firing? That's cold...that's a Bronco legend right there.

Re: Shanahan out in Denver
Zorn's pressure just got ratcheted up a couple notches. Can you imagine Shanahan, Holmgren and Cowher available next offseason? Snyder is probably trembling in anticipation to make the change!

Man, you're not kidding. This would be an entirely new level of restraint from Lil' Danny if he can resist the urge.
