Who am I kidding, Jerry's not leaving anytime soon.
Yeah, I kinda wish he'd stuck around for a while and further tainted the chemistry of that locker room.

It seemed the 'Skins played well against him (most of the time) and I think we'd be better off with him having a star on his helmet.

I think he was talking about who would wear 81 if TO went to New England. Thanks for paying respect to Monk and Green. I agree, both numbers should be retired by the Redskins.

HAIL!

The Giants could sign him, but I'm sure they'll just pick up another d-lineman.

The best possible scenario would be him going there. It won't happen, though.

This is bad news. This actually makes Dallas better.

I really wish we didn't have 12 million in cap space with him available. I am going to buy paper bags for the games if we sign him.

Dudes I called it months ago.. I wish that shitty little team in dalass was stupid enough to keep him. They just got better by subtraction...

Did they? I mean come on, regardless of the fact that he's a prick, TO has skills and lining him up with Roy Williams basically gave them two #1 receivers. Now they only have Roy Williams, and a whole bunch of middle of the pack receivers.

By the way, not to defend T.O., but what has happened with him and Dallas should not come as a surprise. After the Tuna left, was there really any leadership left in that team? Parcells got two good years out of Owens and kept him somewhat in line, one year with Tubby Phillips and things blow up.

By the way, I would bet anything (if I were a betting man) T.O. ends up with the Raiders.

I disagree Pocket$, Dallas may be a more managable team without him but, from a pure talent standpoint they are far more worse off without him. IMO

He made Romo look a lot better than he is IMO.

I'm glad we have our 12 cap. I know you are too. I'm just saying, there is no way he will come here.

Plus we have Hall on the team

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.

Eagles could use a WR

Giants, Jets, Pats, Bears, Colts, Vikings all make sense too

By the end of this week Owens, Holt, and Harrison could all be looking for jobs. That's quite a market for veteran WRs that could push a team over the top

or over a cliff.

T.O. is still a great talent. He is just insufferable as a teammate.

Has anyone considered signing him but only allowing him to be with the team on game days?

"OK, T.O., here's the deal: All you have to do is show up on gameday in uniform in time to warm up and play the game. There's no need for you to move from Dallas to here. Just fly to the city where we're playing each week. You can get dressed at your hotel. We'll send somebody to your hotel to pick you up for the game. After the game, we'll take you right back to your hotel so you can change out of your uniform and then we'll take you to the airport. Study this playbook, keep in shape, and we'll see you on opening day!"

The Yankees tried that with Roger Clemens...didn't do a lot for team chemistry.

Bad idea.

I'd sign Holt in a heartbeat. Yes, he clearly on his downside but he's the kinda of pro who could show Thomas and Kelly what it takes to succeed.

Not sure how he would fit in b/c I am pretty sure he wouldn't want to be the No. 4 receiver.
