I'm still stuck on the classic rock stuff but I enjoy just about all types of music. Just this past weekend they had a special on Neil Diamond in concert and I enjoyed the entire show. He went back to where he was born to do a concert and they showed him walking the streets. It was funny because he was talking to some kids that had no clue who he was. I play drums and I have been thinking about taking piano leasons.

Cool firstdown. Neil Diamond is great. I also play *a little* harmonica and I've always wanted to learn piano. Playing music is so fulfilling and good for the soul.

I have worked from home for about 2 years now, and it's definitely hard to stay motivated some times, but that is just part of the gig. I think it's important to understand that, because the way I see it it's just human nature. Since I have trouble staying motivated at all times, I just work around it. Of course, I write computer software, and I don't have to deal with people very much. If you have lots of meetings or need to talk to customers, then you'll be more restricted by the clock.

Good advice, my man. I'm thinking about stocking the fridge with plenty of beer. I don't normally keep beer here at the house, but I think I might start now. Every Friday we would pop a few cold ones right there in the office. Usually around 4 PM. No need to break tradition at this point.

I've enjoyed playing drums but I want to be able to sit down and play a song and its tough doing that on the drums. I can read some music and the piano is a percusion insrtument. When My grand mother passed away we got her piano so all I need to do is get off my a$$ and take some leasons.

Tradition cannot be broken

I used to work for a Russian who would keep vodka in the office, and we'd have some from time to time for a variety of reasons -- mostly traditional Russian customs and superstitions

I don't know about you, but I can't have a cheeseburger without a cold beer! Speaking of which...

Honestly, the job I'm in right now, people don't know whether I'm here or not my office is so secluded. I could most definitely do 99% of my job from home via remote. I could remote into my clients computers and fix them that way, but no way I would stay motivated.

Already I take advantage of the fact that my bosses don't care what I do and that would just keep me drinking in the morning. Seriously though, I would be a better employee if I could drink at work. Just a few beers to chill me out.

Rubbing one out while on a call with your boss.
Watch porn while on a business call.
Sit naked outside while working from a laptop.
create fake email accounts and send manley pictures of yourself to your co workers.

It sucks; friend and just signed lease on an office.

My wife works rom home and it is really cake in a bunch of ways. Her biggest challenge is that she now doesn't get that normal everyday non-family interaction with people as much as she'd like. It can get lonely so you need to make yourself get out and interact.
