Re: Tan, rested, and married!
Thanks for the well wishes guys. The wife and I talked a lot about the wedding in the days leading up to it, and the days right after. The one thing we kept coming back to was the sense of gratitude. We are so blessed and so lucky to have such a wonderful family and such great friends. You go through life on a daily basis and complain about little shit like traffic, annoying co-workers, not getting that raise, etc etc. But it's always good to take a deep breath and reflect on what you have. Big picture, we are soooo grateful for the life we have and the people in it. It was a wonderful wedding, and a great opportunity for some perspective on life as well.

Re: Tan, rested, and married!
Congratulations man. One tip of advice from someone who has a similar relationship situation as you...try really hard to relive the honeymoon every year. It might not ever be the same, but it's worth it to try.

Re: Tan, rested, and married!
Really good advice. It may be easier to do than I would have thought too- at least for our one year anniversary. We held the rehearsal dinner (90+ attendees) and the reception at the Hyatt Regency in Sarasota, Fl, plus nearly all of our guests stayed there. Then for the honeymoon we stayed at the Hyatt Resort & Casino in Aruba (SICK spot, so luxurious). Grateful for all the business, Hyatt has already offered me two free nights in Aruba next year for our one year anniversary. I'm almost definitely going to take them up on the offer.

Re: Tan, rested, and married!
I was showing my wife your pics tonight and already she was asking where that was and how much she wants to go, haha. It sounds super cheesy, but almost every year we find some random campy-ass spot and renew our vows super wasted and with people we met that night as witnesses. Glad you guys had an awesome time man.

Maybe several cocktails and a little vow renewal on a beach in Aruba will take place next June for us. BTW, if your wife really liked the pics, I can certainly send you plenty more (then again, if you don't want to spring for the trip, I'll keep my mouth shut ). Aruba is kick ass though. I know Schneed agrees.
